Remainder | in an answer to several particulars in a book called The Quakers downfal, said to be written by Lawrence Claxton, who blasphemously stiles himself the alone true and faithful messenger of Christ Jesus; but his spirit being tried by the fruits it hath brought forth, he is found to be a messenger of Satan, and an enemy to Christ and his people, who hath confessed he hath nought of God in him. With several of his damnable doctrines (seldom the like ever read or heard of) which he hath published in his book, returned back for him to prove by plain Scripture or to confesse his errour and blasphemy. Also twelve particulars which he and his companion Lodowick Muggleton uttered at Richard Whitpans house in Eastcheap, in a discourse with me and some others he calls Quakers.
