Bewdley Loyal Association. At a meeting of the inhabitants of Bewdley and its vicinity, held by adjournment, at the Guild-Hall, on Tuesday the 8th day of May, 1798, resolved unanimously, that we, the undersigned, do agree to form ourselves into an association of infantry, for the defence of our most gracious King, ... and to assemble together from time to time, according to law, and to act in aid of the civil magistrates.
